What the service provides
The site provides a free, browser-based tool for decoding and inspecting JSON Web Tokens, together with educational articles about JWTs and related authentication topics. All token decoding is performed locally in your browser; tokens you paste are not transmitted to or stored by us.
No warranty
The site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we work to keep the decoder accurate and the guides correct and current, we do not warrant that the information is complete, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. The tool decodes tokens but does not verify signatures — never treat a decoded token as authenticated.
Not professional advice
The guides and reference material on this site are provided for general educational purposes. They do not constitute professional security, legal, or engineering advice.
